Description
A modern reproduction Sharps-style falling block action rifle manufactured by Armi Sport in Italy and imported by Taylor’s & Co. Inc. of Winchester, VA. The rifle features a blued octagonal barrel and a richly figured wooden stock. The receiver, hammer, and butt plate display vibrant case-hardening colors in blues, purples, and browns. Markings on the barrel include “TAYLOR’S & CO. INC. WINCHESTER – VA.,” and “ARMI SPORT – ITALY BLACK POWDER ONLY CAL. 54,” indicating its .54 caliber black powder designation. The serial number “SH0220” is present near the action, along with an “AP” proof mark. It is fitted with a front blade sight with an orange insert and an adjustable ladder rear sight.

Condition report:
Excellent overall condition. The metal finishes show very little to no wear, and the bluing is well-retained. The case-hardening colors are vibrant and intact. The wooden components are unblemished, showing no apparent scratches, dents, or repairs. Mechanically sound.
