Description
A vintage Colt Super .38 Automatic semi-automatic pistol, designed in the classic 1911-style, accompanied by its original cardboard box. The pistol is crafted from blued steel with dark reddish-brown checkered wood grip panels. The left slide is marked “COLT SUPER .38 AUTOMATIC” alongside a rearing horse emblem. The right slide bears the inscription “COLTS PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.”. The frame is stamped with the serial number “7665”. The magazine base plate is marked “COLT SUPER .38 AUTO”. The accompanying cardboard box, while in poor condition, features a handwritten label confirming “38 SUPER Colt #7665”.
Condition report:
