Description
A Transferable Class 3 NFA Machine Gun, the H.&R. Reising Model 50 Carbine, chambered in .45 caliber. This vintage military-style firearm, appearing to be from the mid-20th century, features a reddish-brown wooden stock and blued steel components. The receiver is clearly marked “MODEL 50 – H.&R. REISING – CAL. 45” along with “HARRINGTON AND RICHARDSON ARMS CO. WORCESTER, MASS. U.S.A. PAT. PENDING,” and includes the visible serial number “8232.” The selector is marked “SAFE. S.A. F.A.” The buttstock is marked “12.” Accompanying the carbine are four detachable box magazines, each bearing similar markings: “H & R – REISING MODEL 50 – CAL. 45 MAGAZINE HARRINGTON AND RICHARDSON ARMS CO. WORCESTER, MASS. U.S.A.” An additional metallic internal component, identified as a spare charging handle, is also included.
Condition report:
Overall good condition, displaying typical signs of age and use. Minor scratches and finish wear are present on both the wooden stock and blued metal surfaces.
