Description
A Ruger New Model Single-Six single-action revolver, manufactured in 1976 as indicated by the ‘MADE IN THE 200TH YEAR OF AMERICAN LIBERTY’ marking on the barrel. The revolver features a blued steel finish and imitation stag horn grips. The barrel is further marked ‘STURM, RUGER & CO. INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.’ and the frame bears the inscription ‘RUGER® .22 CAL. NEW MODEL SINGLE-SIX®’ along with the serial number ’64-27978′. It comes with an extra blued steel spare cylinder marked ‘.22 WIN. MAGNUM’ and featuring the Ruger phoenix logo. Also included is its original paper instruction manual, titled ‘INSTRUCTIONS and PARTS LIST for RUGER NEW MODEL SINGLE-SIX’ with a publication code of ‘XRN1/25/9-75’.
Condition report:
The revolver and spare cylinder are in very good condition, retaining a strong blued finish with minimal signs of use. The imitation stag horn grips are intact. The instruction manual shows typical age-related discoloration, creasing, and minor edge wear consistent with its age and material.
