Weatherby Mark V Bolt-Action Rifle, .300 WBY MAG, with 26" Barrel
Description
A bolt-action sporting rifle, identified as a Weatherby Mark V, featuring a blued steel barrel and receiver. The receiver is marked “Weatherby”, “MARK V”, “USE ONLY .300 WBY MAG (WEATHERBY MAG)”, “SOUTH GATE CALIF. MADE IN JAPAN”, and “U.S. PATENT NO. 3,013,355”, with serial number H214651. The rifle is fitted with a highly polished, richly figured wooden stock, adorned with ornate scrollwork patterns on the forend, pistol grip, and buttstock, complemented by gold-toned spacers. A black Bushnell Scopechief VI variable power scope is mounted on the receiver, displaying clear internal crosshairs. The rifle features a “Weatherby” marked rubber buttpad (U.S. Patent 3,197,945).

Condition report:
Good to very good apparent condition. The high-gloss finish shows minor surface wear consistent with use. Some rust and corrosion are visible within the ports of the barrel\'s muzzle brake. The scope\'s internal crosshairs are clear.
