A Le Gaulois Palm-Squeezer Pistol, No. 1, by Manufacture Française d’Armes & Cycles de Saint-Étienne, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The pistol features a minimalist design, primarily constructed of dark metal with a simple wooden grip. Visible markings on the pistol include “S” and “D” indicators, a serial number “17523” on the barrel and top slide, and a circular stamp detailing the manufacturer “Manufacture Française d’Armes & Cycles de Saint-Étienne”, caliber “6m/m”, and “BREVETÉ S. G. D. G.” (Patented without government guarantee).
