Description
A single-shot falling block rifle, identified as a Ruger No. 1, chambered in .30-06 SPRG. It features a 26″ polished blued steel barrel and receiver. The rifle is complemented by a richly figured wood stock with finely checkered panels on the forend and pistol grip. A red rubber butt pad accented with black and red spacers is fitted, bearing the Ruger logo. Visible markings include “STURM, RUGER & CO. INC., SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.” on the barrel, “RUGER No. 1” and “30-06 SPRG.” on the receiver, and the serial number “130-17405” on the underside. The rifle is equipped with mounted scope rings.
