Description
A modern Henry Repeating Arms lever-action rifle, Model H011BTH, chambered in .44-40 caliber. This rifle is identified as 1 of 200, indicated by the serial number “019BTH200” on the underside of the receiver. It features a highly polished blued steel octagonal barrel and a gold-tone brass receiver and buttplate. The receiver is extensively engraved with scrollwork, including a portrait of a man, likely B. Tyler Henry, on one side and the word “Henry” on the other. The stock and forearm are crafted from highly figured dark wood, consistent with walnut. Visible markings on the barrel read “HENRY’S PATENT OCT. 16. 1860 CAL. .44-40 HENRY REPEATING ARMS BAYONNE NJ USA”. The rifle is presented in its original cardboard box, which displays the “HENRY” logo and slogan “Load On Sunday, Shoot All Week Long,” along with “Made in America” and details confirming the model and caliber.
