Description

A Marlin Golden 39A lever-action rifle, manufactured in 1956 as indicated by the ‘N’ serial prefix. The rifle is chambered in .22 S.L. & L.R. and features a “MICRO-GROOVE” barrel, as marked on the barrel. It presents with a dark-stained wooden stock and forend, complemented by blued metal components. The black buttplate is marked with “Marlin” in script. The rifle is fitted with a Weaver .22 TIP-OFF scope, Model 04, marked “EL PASO, TEX. U.S.A.” and bearing Patent No. 2803897. A brown leather sling is also included. The serial number “N23853” is visible on the underside of the receiver, and a small ‘S’ in a circle is present on the top of the receiver.


Condition report:

Good, used condition with visible wear such as minor scratches and some finish loss on both the wood and metal surfaces, consistent with age and use.
