Description
A vintage cardboard box containing 50 rounds of Winchester .32 caliber center fire ammunition, labeled “SOFT POINT” and “HIGH VELOCITY SMOKELESS CARTRIDGES.” The yellow paper label, with black text and a bullet illustration, prominently displays “50 WINCHESTER 50” and details such as “115 GRAIN SOFT POINT BULLETS,” “MADE IN U. S. A.” by “WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO., NEW HAVEN, CONN.” Instructions for use specify the ammunition is “adapted to Winchester Rifles Model 92 and not adapted to Model 73 Rifle and NOT FOR PISTOLS.” A side label features a large red “W” with additional text and the marking “K3214T.” Inside, 50 brass cartridges with lead and copper-jacketed bullets are visible.
Condition report:
The cardboard box is in poor condition, showing extensive age, discoloration, tears, creases, and tape repairs. The cartridges exhibit varying degrees of tarnish, oxidation, and surface wear.
