Description
A Colt New Frontier Buntline .22 LR single-action revolver, featuring a case-hardened frame and blued barrel and cylinder. The revolver is fitted with checkered black synthetic grips embossed with the Colt rampant horse and an eagle emblem. Visible markings on the firearm include “COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.”, “NEW FRONTIER .22”, “PAT. SEPT. 19, 1871 JULY 2, 72, JAN. 19, 75”, and the Colt rampant horse logo. Accompanied by its original wood-grain patterned cardboard box, which is marked “COLT NEW FRONTIER BUNTLINE” and “UNION UAW MADE”. Also included are a Colt Safety and Instruction Manual (copyright 1982), a Colt One Year Free Service Agreement, and an orange warning tag.
Condition report:
The revolver is in excellent, near-new condition. The original wood-grain patterned cardboard box shows moderate storage wear and creasing. The Colt Safety and Instruction Manual, Colt One Year Free Service Agreement, and orange warning tag are in generally clean condition commensurate with age.
