Description
A group of Remington .222 Remington Magnum center fire rifle ammunition. This lot comprises six vintage-style green cardboard boxes, each marked “High Velocity,” “Remington,” “20 CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES,” and “WARNING: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.” The bottom flaps of the boxes identify the caliber as “.222 Rem. Mag.” Five of the boxes specify “55 GR. POWER-LOKT® HOLLOW PT.” (model R222M2), while one box indicates “50 GR. PTD. SOFT PT.” (model R222R1). A handwritten price of “$60.99” is visible on one box. The lot is accompanied by a partial tray containing twenty brass cartridges. The individual cartridges feature brass casings and copper-colored projectiles, with headstamps reading “222 REM MAG” and “R.”
