Description
A vintage box of Remington UMC .25 (6.35mm) Automatic Smokeless Central Fire metallic cartridges. This partially open cardboard box contains 36 rounds. The tan-colored box features prominent red printing, including “Remington UMC” branding, “Remington Arms Company, Inc., Bridgeport, Conn. U.S.A.”, and “MADE IN U.S.A.” Marketing text describes the “METAL CASED BULLET” and claims “ALL Remington AUTO CARTRIDGES ARE Oilproof,” specifying their adaptation for “.25 COLT, BROWNING, CLEMENT AND OTHER AUTOMATIC ARMS.” Additional markings include “TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. AND OTHER COUNTRIES,” alongside “MARQUE DÉPOSÉE” and “MARCA REG.” The contained brass-cased, copper-tipped cartridges appear unused but exhibit age-related tarnishing.
