Description
A Browning BPS Special Steel 12 Gauge Field Model pump-action shotgun. Featuring a 26-inch barrel, chambered for 2 3/4″ and 3″ shells. The shotgun exhibits a polished blued steel receiver and barrel, complemented by a high-gloss, figured wood stock and forend, both with checkered grip panels. Barrel markings read ‘BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. MADE IN JAPAN’ and ‘- BPS SPECIAL STEEL 12GA – 2 3/4″ AND 3″ FIELD MODEL -26’. The receiver bears the serial number ‘02461P7152’. The rubber buttplate is embossed ‘BROWNING’ and ‘MADE IN U.S.A.’.
Condition report:
Overall condition appears good to very good, exhibiting minor handling marks and superficial scratches on the wood. Faint wear is present on the blued finish, consistent with light to moderate use.
