Description
A High Standard Dura-Matic M101 .22LR semi-automatic pistol, also known as ‘The Plinker’, likely manufactured circa 1969. Constructed of blued metal with dark brown, checkered, molded plastic grips. Visible markings include “DURA-MATIC” on the barrel, “HI-STANDARD” with a wavy line logo on the slide, and “M-101”, serial number “1939225”, and “HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP. HAMDEN, CONN. U.S.A. .22 L.R.” on the frame/barrel. The base of the grip is also marked “HI-STANDARD”. This model was produced by High Standard Manufacturing Corporation in Hamden, Connecticut, U.S.A. It is accompanied by a grey knitted fabric gun sock.
Condition report:
