Erl Svendsen "Little Ace" .22 Short Derringer with Original Box
Description
A vintage Erl Svendsen “Little Ace” miniature single-shot derringer, chambered in .22 Short. The firearm features a blued steel octagonal barrel, a solid bronze frame, and black plastic grip panels. Visible markings on the derringer include “LITTLE [heart icon] ACE”, “.22 SHORT STD. VEL ONLY”, serial number “7173”, and “ERL SVENDSEN F. A. MFG. CO. ITASCA ILLINOIS U.S.A.”. It is presented with its original tan cardboard box, which features marketing text such as “WORLD’S SMALLEST REAL DERRINGER”, a “$12.95” price, and specifications. The box also details the manufacturer as “ERL SVENDSEN F. A. MFG. CO., 4245 N. Harlem Ave., Norridge, Illinois.” An interior warning label explicitly classifies the item as a firearm.

Condition report:
The derringer exhibits tarnish on the bronze components and minor finish wear consistent with age and handling. The blued steel barrel retains much of its finish.
