Description
A group of 75 rounds of vintage Remington Kleanbore 30-30 Winchester Express centerfire smokeless cartridges. The ammunition is presented in four vintage Remington Kleanbore cardboard ammunition boxes, featuring green, red, and gold designs. The lot includes two boxes marked for 170-grain soft point Core-Lokt bullets, one for 160-grain metal cased bullets, and one for 150-grain soft point Core-Lokt bullets. Each box was originally designed for 20 cartridges. Visible markings on the boxes include “DuPont,” “MADE IN U.S.A.,” and a “WARNING KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN” on one box. Two of the boxes are open, revealing trays of brass-cased cartridges with “REM-UMC 30-30 WIN” headstamps, showcasing examples of both soft point and metal-cased bullets. The ammunition and packaging are consistent with a mid-20th century production period.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes exhibit notable wear, creasing, and fading. The cartridges show some tarnish on the brass but appear in otherwise generally good, aged condition.
