Description
A RECK LA FURY P-8 compact automatic pistol, chambered in 6.35mm (.25 Caliber). The pistol features a black blued metal finish and checkered wooden grip panels, each bearing an ‘LA’ logo. The slide is marked ‘RECK P8 Kal 6,35 mm’, along with proof marks (an eagle over N and stag antler), a ’67’ date stamp, and the serial number ‘108581’. The right side of the slide is marked ‘Made in West-Germany’. This lot includes its original blue cardboard box, which is labeled ‘LA FURY’ and ‘Cal. 25’ on the front. A side label on the box confirms it as a ‘LA FURY 8, 25 CAL. PISTOL’ with the matching serial number ‘108581’ and also indicates ‘Made in West-Germany’. An accompanying yellowed instruction manual, titled ‘LA FURY POCKET MODEL AUTOMATIC PISTOL Calibre .25’, is also present.
Condition report:
The pistol itself appears in good condition with minor wear, particularly on the brass-toned trigger and grip panels. The original blue cardboard box is significantly worn, faded, and torn. The accompanying instruction manual exhibits creasing and discoloration consistent with age and use.
