Vintage Winchester Super Speed .375 H. & H. Magnum Ammunition, 20 Rounds
Description
A vintage Winchester Super Speed ammunition box containing 20 .375 H. & H. Magnum “STAYNLESS NON-MERCURIC” center fire cartridges. The cartridges are 300 grain “FULL PATCH” type and are explicitly “ADAPTED TO WINCHESTER MODEL 70 RIFLE AND OTHER RIFLES OF THIS CALIBER.” The red and yellow cardboard box prominently displays the “WINCHESTER” brand and “TRADE MARK” logo. Manufacturer details on the side identify it as produced by “WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO., DIVISION OF OLIN INDUSTRIES, Inc., NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT, U.S.A.” The box is marked “MADE IN U.S.A.”
Condition report:
The box exhibits wear, minor creasing, and discoloration consistent with age. It is currently encased in clear protective plastic wrap. A handwritten \"475\" is visible on the front face.
