Description
A Winchester Model 670 bolt-action rifle chambered in .243 WIN. It features a blued steel barrel and receiver with serial number “101988” visible on the latter, and a varnished wooden stock with checkered panels on the forend and pistol grip. The barrel is marked “MADE IN U.S.A. — WINCHESTER® MODEL – 670 – 243 WIN. -” and “WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL”, while the receiver bears the “WINCHESTER® TRADE MARK”. It is equipped with a mounted Tasco brand scope, showing adjustment markings and a reticle with fine crosshairs and mil-dot style hash marks. The rifle features a 22″ barrel.
Condition report:
Good condition. Shows signs of use commensurate with age, including minor wear, scuffs, and some finish loss on the blued steel barrel and receiver. The bolt exhibits finish loss. The varnished wooden stock has minor wear and scuffs. The Tasco scope appears intact with clear optics.
