Vintage Weatherby .378 Weatherby Magnum Ammunition, Elephant Box, 20 Live Rounds
Description
A vintage cardboard box of “Weatherby Ultra-Velocity Ammunition,” containing 20 live rounds of .378 Weatherby Magnum, marked for “370 GRAIN.” The box features a graphic of an elephant and a cartridge, prominently displaying “Weatherby,” the slogan “Builders of America’s Finest Rifles,” and a cautionary statement: “This Ammunition is for use only in Weatherby Magnum Rifles.” “MADE IN U.S.A.” is also visible on one side. The open box reveals 20 brass cartridges, each headstamped “W-BY .378 MAG,” which appear unfired.
Condition report:
The vintage cardboard packaging exhibits significant signs of age and wear, including creasing, scuffing, and discoloration, consistent with its age. The 20 internal brass cartridges appear to be in good, unblemished condition and unfired.
