Description
A Sako L579 Forester bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in .243 Winchester, manufactured in Finland. The rifle features a high-gloss finished wooden stock with checkered panels on the forend and pistol grip. The blued steel metal components complement the stock. The receiver and barrel are marked “SAKO Cal. .243 FORESTER – MADE IN FINLAND,” “L579 No. 73031,” and “Bofors Steel,” along with Finnish proof marks. The rifle is equipped with a black SIMMONS 8-POINT 3-9X40 rifle scope, marked “MADE IN CHINA WATERPROOF FOGPROOF,” which presents a standard crosshair reticle.
