Three Boxes of Vintage Winchester and Remington .220 Swift Centerfire Rifle Ammunition
Description
A group of three vintage boxes of .220 Swift centerfire rifle ammunition. The lot includes one yellow box branded “Winchester Super-Speed,” containing “220 SWIFT, 48 GR. PTD. SOFT POINT” cartridges. The second box is a green and tan “Remington Premier® Varmint,” specifying “.220 Swift, 50 GR. POLYMER TIP BOAT TAIL.” The third box is a green “Remington Hi-Speed,” detailing “220 SWIFT, 48 GRAIN SOFT POINT, KLEANBORE PRIMING.” All boxes prominently display warnings in English and French: “CARTOUCHES À PERCUSSION CENTRALE MISE EN GARDE: TENIR HORS DE LA PORTÉE DES ENFANTS.” The visible brass cartridges, some with green-tipped, soft-point, or polymer-tipped bullets, appear to be in good, unused condition, housed in their original internal trays.
Condition report:
The cardboard packaging shows significant wear, creasing, and minor tearing consistent with age and storage. The visible cartridges appear to be in good, unused condition.
