Description
This lot features a vintage dark blue cardboard Smith & Wesson firearm box, prominently displaying the brand’s logo and “Smith & Wesson, Springfield, Mass.” address on its lid. An end label on the box details “0410025501 / 22L AUTO 51/2IN BRBL”, indicating its original contents. The box contains a cardboard insert specifically molded to cradle a pistol and its accessories, though the firearm and primary accessories are not present. Accompanying the box is a collection of paper documents, including a “22 AUTOMATIC Model No. 41” parts list and instruction manual, a “Holsters for your” brochure, general “CAUTION” sheets, and a Smith & Wesson Ammunition brochure. Also included are multiple clear plastic bags containing various metal springs, some of which are labeled for specific uses such as “Standard – NO COLOR”, “high velocity 10% heavier – BLUE”, and “subsonic 10% lighter – YELLOW”.
