The box, manufactured by Remington Arms – Union Metallic Cartridge Co., Bridgeport, Conn., U.S.A., features “Remington UMC” and “Remington” trade marks. It is marked “FOR GOVERNMENT AND OTHER RIFLES” and specifies “450 GRS. BULLET,” alongside a guarantee of quality. The contained brass-cased cartridges are 20 mixed headstamps and show varying degrees of tarnish and patina consistent with age but appear physically complete.
