Description
This lot comprises 80 rounds of vintage Remington Hi-Speed .221 Center Fire ‘Rem. Fireball’ ammunition. The cartridges are presented in four vintage cardboard boxes, two green and two blue/teal variants. Each box is marked “20 CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES”, “WARNING • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN”, “KLEANBORE® PRIMING”, “MADE IN U.S.A.”, “50 GRAIN PTD. SOFT PT.”, “REM. FIREBALL”, and “INDEX 5221”. One box is open, revealing 20 brass-cased cartridges with copper-tipped bullets, each individually stamped “221 REM” on its base.
Condition report:
The boxes exhibit significant wear, including tears, discoloration, and crushing. Two boxes retain damaged plastic wrapping. The cartridges themselves show some tarnish but appear to be in generally good, unfired condition.
