Description
A group of 40 rounds of vintage Winchester Super-X .284 Winchester centerfire rifle cartridges. This lot comprises two vintage Winchester Super-X cardboard boxes, each containing twenty .284 Winchester centerfire rifle cartridges. The boxes feature a distinct orange and red graphic with the Winchester logo and a cowboy on horseback silhouette. They are clearly labeled “SUPER-X,” “20 CENTERFIRE RIFLE CARTRIDGES,” “284 WINCHESTER,” “150 GR. POWER POINT (S.P.),” and bear the product code “X2842.” English warnings advise: “Keep out of reach of children. See Warnings on back panel before use.” The cartridges are stored in red plastic trays, are brass-cased with copper-tipped projectiles, and their headstamps read “W-W 284 WIN” or “284 WINCHESTER.”
Condition report:
The external cardboard packaging exhibits minor shelf wear and slight discoloration commensurate with age. The cartridges themselves appear to be in excellent, unfired condition.
