Description
This lot comprises four boxes of new, unfired rifle cartridges, containing a total of 56 rounds. One box is from Federal Premium, labeled “Premium Safari” and originally containing 20 count, 400 Grain .416 Remington Magnum cartridges. The other three boxes are from Remington “High Velocity”, each originally containing 20 count, “400 GR. BARNES SOLID” .416 Remington Magnum cartridges. All boxes prominently state “CENTERFIRE RIFLE CARTRIDGES / CARTOUCHES” and feature safety warnings in English and French, which include the phrase “A percussion latérale” (rimfire cartridge) in the French text, despite the explicit “centerfire” designation and the visual evidence of the cartridges. The brass-cased cartridges, marked “R-P 416 REM MAG”, appear clean and uncorroded, showing no signs of use or significant wear, presented in a black plastic tray.
