Winchester Model 12 Pump-Action Shotgun, 16 GA, 24" Barrel
Description
A pump-action shotgun, identified by barrel markings as a Winchester Model 12, chambered in 16 GA. The shotgun features a 24″ barrel, blued steel construction, a dark wooden stock, and a ribbed forend. Barrel markings include “MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN.” with patent dates ranging from 1896 to 1910. Further markings specify “WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL,” “WINCHESTER” (with a “TRADE MARK”), “MODEL 12 – 16 GA.,” “2 3/4 CHAM.,” and “CYL.” The serial number “950915” is present on both the receiver and barrel, accompanied by small ‘W’ and circled ‘W’ logos. The buttplate is checkered and features a central shield emblem.
Condition report:
Used condition. Displays noticeable wear, surface scratches, and loss of bluing to the metal components. The wooden stock and forend show scratches, dents, and finish loss consistent with age and use. The item appears structurally intact.
