Description
A Browning A-BOLT Medallion bolt-action rifle, featuring a blued metal finish and a highly polished, richly grained wooden stock with checkered grip panels. The receiver is intricately embellished with scroll engraving and marked “MEDALLION.” The barrel is marked “A-BOLT CAL. 223 REM / 5.56MM ONLY,” “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. MADE IN JAPAN,” Patent No. 4723383, and serial number J07067N13H7. The rifle is equipped with a 20″ barrel. A black Simmons 8-Point 3-9×40 rifle scope, marked “FULLY COATED” and “MODEL 800481 CHINA CG,” with a standard crosshair reticle, is mounted and accompanied by two protective scope caps. The buttpad is black rubber with “BROWNING” molded into it, and a gold Browning Buckmark logo is visible on the magazine floorplate.
Condition report:
Overall very good to excellent apparent condition. The high-gloss finishes exhibit minimal visible wear. The blued metal retains its luster. The wooden stock is well-preserved with minor handling marks consistent with light use. The scope appears clear and functional.
