Description
A lot of five vintage Remington Kleanbore ammunition boxes. Four boxes are for “.222 REMINGTON MAGNUM” Hi-Speed, 55 Grain Soft Point Bullets, containing 20 center fire smokeless cartridges each. One box is for “.222 REMINGTON” 50 Grain Soft Point Hi-Speed, also containing 20 center fire smokeless cartridges. All visible boxes are marked “MADE IN U.S.A.” and feature the “DUPONT” logo. Most boxes bear the product number “0522,” with one marked “0722.” An opened box reveals individual cartridges with brass casings and lead/copper soft point bullets. Visible text on one box lid confirms “REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY.”
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes show significant wear, fading, creasing, and minor tearing consistent with age. One box retains a \"$35.00\" price sticker. The individual cartridges appear to be in good, slightly tarnished condition.
