Description
A Remington Model 600 bolt-action sporting rifle, featuring an 18 1/2″ barrel. The rifle presents with a blued metal barrel and receiver, complemented by a varnished wooden stock. The stock is distinguished by fine checkering on the forend and pistol grip areas, a Monte Carlo-style comb, and a black rubber butt plate embossed with ‘Remington’. Markings on the receiver include ‘Remington’ and ‘MODEL 600’, serial number ‘4861’, and Thai characters ‘ร ปี ต’. The barrel is marked ‘REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC. ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. PAT. PENDING’ and specifies ‘6.5 REM’ for the caliber. It is equipped with a ventilated rib on the barrel and an integrated scope mount rail on the receiver.
Condition report:
Good condition. The wooden stock exhibits surface scratches and minor finish wear, consistent with use. Metal components show some finish wear. Mechanically appears sound.
