Description
A Smith & Wesson Model 64-2 double-action revolver, chambered in .38 S. & W. Special, featuring a stainless steel finish and a 2-inch barrel. The revolver is fitted with checkered wooden grips adorned with S&W medallions. Visible markings include “SMITH & WESSON” on the barrel, “.38 S. & W. SPL.” indicating caliber, “MOD. 64-2” on the frame, and “MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS.” on the right side of the frame. The serial number “7D26647” is engraved on the butt. It is accompanied by its original blue Smith & Wesson box, which features a label confirming the “MODEL NO. 64-2”, “FIN SS” (stainless steel), “BARREL 2″ R” (2-inch, round butt), and matching “SER. NO. 7D26647”. Also included are various instruction papers and brochures, one specifically identifying it as a “38 MILITARY & POLICE STAINLESS REVOLVER MODEL NO. 64” and another titled “SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE”.
Condition report:
The revolver is in very good condition with minimal wear. The original blue Smith & Wesson box and accompanying papers show signs of handling and age.
