Description
A vintage box containing five Peters Dupont High Velocity 16 Gauge Rifled Slug Shotgun Shells. The light tan cardboard box features dark blue printing, prominently displaying ‘Peters Dupont,’ ’16 GA.,’ ‘High Velocity Rifled Slug Shotgun Shells,’ ‘Rustless Smokeless,’ ‘No. 160 R.S.,’ ‘2 3/4 IN.,’ ‘7/8 OZ. (approx.),’ and safety warnings, along with a ‘5’ indicating quantity. The enclosed shells have brass bases marked ‘PETERS HI-VELOCITY 16 GA.’ and blue hulls with visible grey rifled slug tips.
Condition report:
The original cardboard box exhibits significant age-related wear, including discoloration, creasing, and edge fraying. The ammunition itself appears to be in good, unused condition with minor surface dust.
