Description
This lot features a Winchester Model 94 lever-action rifle, chambered in .32 W.N. SPL., with a 20″ barrel. The rifle is characterized by its blued metal components and polished dark wood stock and fore-end. Markings on the barrel clearly state “MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN, U.S. AMERICA WINCHESTER MODEL 94-32 W.N. SPL.- TRADE MARK-” and “WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL.” The serial number “2397611” is stamped on the underside of the receiver, and a “WP” proof mark is visible on both the barrel and receiver. The rifle is accompanied by a two-tone soft gun case, featuring a dark brown faux leather section and a tan textile section.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good to very good overall condition. It retains a generally well-preserved blued finish with minor handling marks visible on the receiver. The wooden stock and fore-end show light surface scratches consistent with use. The accompanying soft gun case is in apparent good condition.
