Description
A Remington Model 700 BDL bolt-action rifle chambered in .243 Winchester. The rifle features a custom-style, highly figured polished wooden stock, likely walnut, with a distinct Monte Carlo comb, pistol grip, contrasting dark wood fore-end tip, and detailed checkering on the grip and fore-end. It is equipped with a blued steel barrel and receiver, and a bright metal bolt handle. Markings on the receiver include “W 551” and “455 X 2”. The rifle is fitted with a black Leupold scope, marked “LEUPOLD” and “ULTRA 3.5 – 10X44” on the body. The buttstock is finished with a black rubber buttpad, visibly marked “OLD ENGLISH PACHMAYR,” “U.S. PATENT D191.449,” “MADE IN U.S.A.”, and “LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA.”
