Description
A Remington Rolling Block rifle, featuring a single-shot, falling block action. This example is chambered in .45-70 caliber and is fitted with a 27 1/2″ blued steel barrel. The rifle features a polished wooden stock and fore-end, complemented by a receiver exhibiting a vibrant case-hardened finish. It is equipped with a blade front sight and an adjustable tang-mounted rear sight. A black rubber recoil pad is fitted to the buttstock, marked “MADE IN U.S.A. WHITE LINE GUN WORKS MANSFIELD OHIO”.
Condition report:
Very good condition. The blued finish on the barrel and the case-hardening on the receiver are well-maintained, showing only minor handling marks. The wooden stock and fore-end are polished and exhibit minor handling marks consistent with age and use. The action appears to function correctly.
