Description
A Winchester Model 427 Precision Air Rifle, chambered in .22 caliber, featuring a blued metal barrel and receiver with a traditional wooden stock. The rifle is marked “WINCHESTER”, “MOD. 427”, and “MADE IN GERMANY”. It is accompanied by its original red and black buffalo plaid patterned box, which bears a label specifying “Made in West Germany for Winchester, Western Division of Olin Mathieson Chemical Corp.” and the serial/model number “A42722”. An informational hang tag is also included, listing “OPERATION AND CARE OF WINCHESTER PRECISION AIR RIFLES MODELS 416 • 422 • 423 • 425 • 427 • 435”. Condition report:
