Description
This Brand New commemorative Thompson-style rifle, manufactured by Auto-Ordnance Corporation, Worcester, Massachusetts, U.S.A., is designated as the ‘John Wayne Tribute to the Military’ and bears the unique identifier JW-0013. It features a blued steel receiver and barrel, complemented by extensive gold-colored detailing on the trigger, bolt handle, compensator, and other components. The polished wood furniture, including the buttstock, foregrip, and pistol grip, is crafted from walnut. The firearm is richly engraved with gold-toned motifs, military figures, and prominent quotes such as “JOHN WAYNE SALUTE TO THE ARMED FORCES,” “ALL BATTLES ARE FOUGHT BY SCARED MEN… WHO’D RATHER BE SOMEPLACE ELSE!”, “WE ALL OWE A DEBT TO THE MEN WHO FIGHT FOR OUR FREEDOM,” “JOHN WAYNE TRIBUTE TO THE MILITARY,” “FREEDOM IS NEVER FREE!”, “Lest we forget!”, “A MAN OUGHTA DO… WHAT HE THINKS IS BEST!”, and “THE AMERICAN FLAG, THE BEST FLAG GOD GAVE ANY COUNTRY.” The trademark “Thompson REG.
