Description
A group of three vintage-style cardboard boxes of Western Super X 225 Winchester 55 Gr. Ptd. Soft Point Centerfire Cartridges, totaling 60 rounds. Each box features “Western SUPER X CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES” on a bright yellow background with a large red “X” and blue “SUPER” oval. Vertical text on the front panels reads: “WARNING Keep out of reach of children.” The ends of the boxes specify “2251 225 WINCHESTER 55 GR. PTD. SOFT POINT.” One opened box reveals approximately 20 brass-cased centerfire cartridges, uniformly arranged in a cardboard insert, with one cartridge visible out of its slot showing a pointed, copper-jacketed projectile with a visible lead tip.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes exhibit general surface wear, minor discoloration, and scuffs consistent with age, with one box showing residue from a removed sticker. The cartridges themselves appear to be in excellent, unused condition.
