Description
A group of four vintage cardboard ammunition boxes, comprising two branded “Western SUPER X SILVERTIP” and two branded “Winchester SUPER-SPEED SILVERTIP.” Each box features a yellow background with red and blue lettering. Visible text on the sides of each box indicates “.300 SAVAGE,” “180 GR. EXPANDING,” and model numbers “3005” or “W3005.” One Western box further specifies “20 CARTRIDGES” and “.300 SAVAGE 180 GR. EXPANDING BULLETS” on its lid. Each box prominently displays a “WARNING: Keep out of reach of children.” label. One box is open, revealing 20 brass cartridges with silver-colored tips, with visible headstamps including “SUPER X” and “W-W 300 SAVAGE,” suggesting the boxes contain their original complement of ammunition.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes exhibit good vintage condition with age-consistent wear, discoloration, and minor creasing. The visible brass cartridges show some tarnish but generally appear to be in fair condition.
