Description
A vintage Winchester Model 12 pump-action shotgun, featuring a blued steel barrel, receiver, and action components, complemented by a wooden buttstock and a ribbed wooden forend. The 30″ barrel is marked “WINCHESTER – MODEL 12 – 12 GA. – 2 3/4 CHAM. – WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL – FULL,” indicating a 12 gauge, 2 ¾ inch chamber, and a Full choke. Additional markings include “TRADE MARK” and “MADE IN U.S.A.,” along with “WP” proof marks on both the barrel and receiver. The serial number “1432137” is present on both the barrel and receiver. The black checkered buttplate is marked with a circular “WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO.” logo.
Condition report:
Good for its age, showing expected wear including scattered scratches and minor finish loss on both the blued metal surfaces and the wooden furniture, consistent with use.
