Description
A group of four vintage ammunition boxes, comprising two ‘Western SUPER X’ and two ‘Winchester SUPER-SPEED’ center-fire rifle cartridges. All boxes are specified for ‘.257 ROBERTS’ caliber, containing ’87 GR. PTD. SOFT POINT’ bullets. The packaging is predominantly yellow with red and blue branding, featuring warnings and product details. Handwritten price notations such as ‘$5.29’, ‘$8.00’, and ‘OUR PRICE $5.70’ are present, along with product codes ‘2571’ and ‘W2571’. The single opened box reveals 20 brass-cased cartridges.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes exhibit significant signs of age, wear, and handling, including creases, smudges, and a prominent black mark on one box. The cartridges within the opened box are in excellent, seemingly unused condition.
