A Winchester Model 12 Pump-Action 20 Gauge Shotgun with 28" Barrel
Description
A Winchester Model 12 pump-action shotgun, chambered in 20 gauge with a 28″ barrel. The firearm features a blued steel finish and a polished wooden stock with a ribbed fore-end. Markings on the left side of the barrel state “NICKEL STEEL – WINCHESTER – MODEL 12 – 20 GA. 2¾ FULL” and “TRADE MARK.” The top of the receiver and barrel display numerous patent dates ranging from July 21, 1896, through July 22, 1913, along with “MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN.” The serial number “563445” and “2 3/4” are visible on the underside. The buttstock is fitted with a reddish-orange recoil pad embossed with “WINCHESTER,” “TRADE MARK,” “MADE IN U.S.A.,” and “PAT. JUNE 6, 1922.”
Condition report:
Very good overall condition. The blued steel finish is well-preserved with minor handling marks consistent with age. The wooden stock and fore-end show light wear. The recoil pad is intact.
