Vintage Weatherby 7mm W.M. Magnum Ammunition 'Tiger Box' with 6 Live Rounds and 14 Empty Brass
Description
A vintage, originally full cardboard box of 20 Weatherby Ultra-Velocity Ammunition, now containing 6 live rounds and 14 empty brass cartridges. The box is specifically for 7mm W.M. Weatherby Magnum, 150 Grain Ultra-Velocity Soft Point cartridges. The distinctive yellow and brown box features a prominent tiger head graphic, a large illustration of a bullet, and the Weatherby script logo, alongside the slogan “Builders of America’s Finest Rifles.” Visible text includes “WARNING: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. USE THIS AMMUNITION ONLY IN RIFLES SPECIFICALLY CHAMBERED FOR WEATHERBY MAGNUM AMMUNITION. USE OF THESE CARTRIDGES IN ANY OTHER FIREARM MAY CAUSE SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO YOUR GUN. DO NOT USE IN WEATHERBY VANGUARD RIFLES,” and a lot number “17033.” The brass cartridges inside are stamped “WEATHERBY” and “7mm MAGNUM” on their bases.
Condition report:
The cardboard box exhibits visible wear, scuffs, and edge abrasions consistent with age and handling. The cartridges appear to be in good, unspent condition. The box is secured by a green string.
