Description
A Marlin Firearms Co. Model 336A lever-action rifle, chambered in .30-30 Winchester, with a 20″ Micro-Groove barrel. Constructed from blued steel with a polished wood stock and forearm, both featuring checkered panels. The barrel is marked ‘Marlin Firearms Co. North Haven, CT. U.S.A.’ and ‘Mod. 336A Micro-Groove Barrel Cal. 30/30 Win.’. The serial number ‘99039761’ is visible on the tang, and a small ‘M’ marking is present on the receiver. The butt plate is black polymer with a ‘Marlin’ script logo. A partial warning ‘WARNING: BEFORE USING GUN READ CAREFULLY IN OWNERS MANUAL’ is also discernible on the barrel.
Condition report:
Good overall condition, showing expected bluing loss and minor surface wear, particularly on the receiver. The wood furniture exhibits a few light handling marks and abrasions.
