Description
A collection of Peters ‘High Velocity’ .35 Remington ammunition, comprising four vintage cardboard boxes and seventy-one cartridges. The boxes, reflecting an early-to-mid 20th-century style, include two in orange/red and blue designs and two in blue and cream. They are marked with “Peters,” “High Velocity,” “35 Remington,” varying grain weights (150 and 200 grain), bullet types (“Pointed Soft Point,” “Inner-Belted Bullet,” “Core-Lokt”), and priming information (“Smokeless Cartridges,” “Kleabore Priming”). Further visible markings include “DuPont,” “Made in U.S.A.,” “Warning Keep Out of Reach of Children,” and various index numbers (3592, 3589, 3569). The accompanying seventy-one brass-cased .35 Remington cartridges feature lead/copper-jacketed soft-point bullets and are headstamped “REM-UMC 35 REM,” with some still presented in their original cardboard trays.
Condition report:
The cardboard ammunition boxes exhibit significant age-related wear, including discoloration, creasing, tears, and remnants of price stickers. The cartridges are in generally good, clean condition.
