A Collection of 8 Sets: 68 U.S. Mint Uncirculated Coin Sets (1990, 2000) and Reader's Digest Presidential Medallion Sets
Description
This lot comprises 8 sets, containing a total of 68 coins and medallions. It features multiple official United States Mint uncirculated coin sets from the years 1990 and 2000, including both Philadelphia and Denver mint issues. These sets showcase standard U.S. coinage, with the 2000 sets specifically featuring the 50 State Quarters series. All U.S. Mint coin sets are sealed in their original plastic government packaging (OGP) and accompanied by informational cardstock sleeves. Alongside these are several “Free For You: A Coin History of the U.S. Presidents” commemorative sets, produced by Reader’s Digest and copyright dated 1997. Each Reader’s Digest set contains seven gold-toned medallions, explicitly stated as “minted in solid brass,” depicting various U.S. Presidents around a central Presidential Seal. These medallion sets are similarly encased in plastic on cardboard backings.
Condition report:
The coins and medallions are in excellent, uncirculated or well-preserved condition within their sealed containers. The external cardstock packaging for both the U.S. Mint sets and the Reader\'s Digest sets exhibits minor wear consistent with storage and age.
