A Pair of Lockback Folding Knives, Proto and Sears, USA
Description
This lot presents two identical-style lockback folding knives. Each knife features a polished clip-point stainless steel blade, dark reddish-brown wood handle scales, and brass bolsters secured with brass pins. The tang of one knife is stamped “18545”, “PROTO”, and “U.S.A.”, while the other is marked “SEARS”, “STAINLESS”, and “U.S.A. 95416”. These knives are similar in design and construction to the popular Schrade Uncle Henry LB7 model, which is frequently found in the market with comparable features.
Condition report:
Both knives show signs of use, including surface scratches on the blades and bolsters. There is some tarnishing or patina on the brass components. Overall, they are in good, used condition.
