Description
A vintage box of Weatherby 7mm W.M. Weatherby Magnum Ultra-Velocity Ammunition, commonly referred to as the “Tiger Box” due to its distinctive packaging. The box contains 15 live rounds and 4 brass casings. Originally, the box held 20 rounds of 150 Grain Soft Point ammunition. The cardboard packaging features a prominent illustration of a tiger head, a large depiction of a brass cartridge, and branding text including “Weatherby,” “Ultra-Velocity Ammunition,” “Builders of America’s Finest Rifles,” and “Builder of the World’s Most Powerful Rifles.” Visible markings on the box indicate “MADE IN SWEDEN” and list the manufacturer’s address as “2781 East Firestone Blvd. South Gate, CA 90280.” The brass cartridges inside are marked “WEATHERBY 7mm MAGNUM” on their bases and appear clean and unfired.
